Got stuck into recording again over the weekend. Had a great time with it. Sometimes it gets a bit tedious & you don’t feel like you’re getting anywhere – particularly at the beginning. But the songs are taking some great shape now. Felt like we got through a heap of work by late yesterday.

I was pretty pumped & went out, down to the Vic Bar with Craigie to wind down over a few quiet ones. Took a few hours for the adrenaline to subside. Dropped in to see Stalk & Kim on the way home & stayed a little longer than anticipated. Staggered home with Scotty.

The flights are booked – we’re due to arrive in Beijing at midnight on 9th April. We’ll have a few days to kick the jet-lag, meet folks & do some media. Kent arrives from Atlanta on Friday 13th. We’ll rehearse the tour for about 5 days & hit the road.

Prior to leaving Australia, we’ll chill in Tamworth for a few days with my folks. That’s where we’ll leave our dog, Mojo. The last time we left he freaked out & tried to climb into the suitcases. When that failed he stuck his head under the bed & wouldn’t budge. Poor dog – at least this time we’ll be back reasonably soon.
