No post yesterday. Perhaps because yesterday people or persons unknown stole our bikes. They came through the front gate, snipped the lock cable & made off with the booty. Damn.

We had them for about three weeks, bought them 2nd hand – and now they’ve probably re-entered the NYC stolen bicycle circuit. Probably how we bought them so cheap in the first place… the cycle of life…

So we’re back on foot – but it’s only a couple more weeks til we’re down in Florida to start the tour. We’d intended to give the bikes back to the community here when we left – the thieves just extracted them a little earlier than we’d have liked.
